Coach Andy Lyon is entering his 5th year as head baseball coach at Oviedo High School. Coach Lyon is a graduate of Bellarmine University in Kentucky with a Masters from Stetson. He recently was the head coach of Lake Howell High School (2014-2020). Under his leadership the team made the State Playoffs in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. In addition, they were the 2018 District Champions. Coach Lyon was named the FACA District Coach of the Year three times. Prior to LHHS, Coach Lyon was the head coach of Deland. The team was the 2014 8A-1 Regional Champions and made a Final 4 appearance. He was named 2014 News Journal Coach of the Year.
